Sexual and reproductive health services including contraception are essential services, and continue to be available throughout the levels of COVID-19 restrictions. Exactly what is available and where will vary slightly depending on where you live, and which level we are at. Contact your local sexual health clinic, GP or Family Planning if you have any concerns or symptoms.

The National Cervical Screening Programme has released a new online learning module for the cervical screening sector. The training course on the human papillomavirus (HPV) is now available on the Ministry of Health Learn Online website at www.learnonline.health.nz

Important Announcement from the Executive: 2020 Conference Postponed

It is with regret that The New Zealand Sexual Health Society has made the decision to postpone the 2020 conference due to take place on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2020 in Hamilton, due to the rapid developing situation with COVID-19. The committee have explored several options and we have made the decision to postpone the conference until:

Friday 29 and Saturday 30 October 2021
