2015 NZ HIV Clinical Update Presentations

The 2015 New Zealand HIV Clinical Update was a great success marking three decades of action against HIV. This is the only national HIV clinical meeting in New Zealand and has been held annually for many years. It provided an opportunity for the presentation of clinical updates and local research as well as networking for healthcare professionals and industry representatives involved in the care of persons living with HIV infection. This year was a special themed meeting marking three decades of action against HIV; highlighting New Zealand’s successes, identifying areas to improve, and debating contemporary challenges.

Presentations from those speakers who gave their permission and love video recordings are available on the Presentations Page.

The presentations cover a wide range of topics including:

- politics and campaigning

- epidemiology

- clinical care

- sexual behaviours

- using science to inform prevention strategy

- social marketing (condoms; content warning)

- community-based responses

- perspectives of affected populations
